HOBE SOUND, Fla. – James F. Deschenes, 76, Hobe Sound, Fla., died Jan. 23, 2024, in Hobe Sound, Fla.
Jim was born on March 20, 1947, in Waterbury, Conn., to Mary Delaney Deschenes and Armand J. Deschenes. He grew up in Waterbury until he moved to Florida in early 2000.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a nursing home administrator.
He was predeceased by his sister, Irene Vitvitsky, and survived by his siblings, Mary Silkauskas of Watertown, Margaret Lawrence of Hobe Sound, Fla., Raymond Deschenes of Wolcott, Robert Deschenes of Colchester; and many nieces and nephews.
