Man shot in Prince George’s in December dies of injuries

A 26-year-old man who was shot in Prince George’s County in December has died of his injuries, Prince George’s County police said.

Police identified him as Yohans Raynor, 26, of Bowie. Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify suspects in the shooting, police said.

Officers responded at about 2:35 p.m. on Dec. 22 for a reported shooting in the 300 block of Possum Court in the Capitol Heights area, police said. They found Raynor with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

Raynor was taken to a hospital. He was pronounced dead on Tuesday, police said.

Police said they do not believe the crime was random.
