When will Pakistan election 2024 results be announced?

Voting to elect the new government in cash-strapped Pakistan came to an end at 5 pm on Thursday, 8 February. Now, all eyes are on who will be the next leader who would help the country come out of its economic burden.
Once votes for Pakistan elections 2024 are in, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will commence the process of the “compilation of results” which is considered to be the most crucial and combative phase of the entire electoral exercise.

The counting of votes will begin immediately after the conclusion of the polling at 5 pm on 8 February.
Media in Pakistan will start reporting the election results from 6 pm onwards. News channels, portals and other platforms will have to share election results with a disclaimer that these are unofficial and unconfirmed results.
The ECP also ruled out extending voting time amid reports of delay in the start of polling.
Announcement of Pakistan polls result in three steps
The announcement of Pakistan poll results 2024 will be made in a three-step process — provisional results, consolidation of results, and declaration of results.
Additional Director General (ADG) Nighat Sadique, addressing a news conference, said presiding officers were obligated to send the election results to the election commission by 2 am on 9 February.
In case of any delay, the returning officer (RO) will inquire about the cause of the delay from the presiding officer (PO) and submit it to the ECP.
