Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino revealed he held clear-the-air talks with Thiago Silva following controversial comments from the Brazilian’s wife.

Silva’s wife, Belle, took to social media on Sunday calling for Pochettino’s exit from the club following the 4-2 defeat at home to Wolves.

In the aftermath of the Blues’ latest setback she wrote: "It's time to change. If you wait any longer it will be too late."

Pochettino has now confirmed that he has spoken to the defender but remained tight-lipped on the content of the conversation
