How to respec in Palworld

Every time you level up in Palworld, you are given the chance to improve some aspect of your character. There isn’t necessarily a wrong way to build your character, but you only get so many points before you hit the level cap and might wish you had made some different choices when taking on the game’s tougher challenges, like catching the Legendaries. Some titles force you to live with how you spec your character, but Palworld is a little more lenient and does offer a way to redistribute all those points once you have a better idea of what you want. The process isn’t simple and will take some time and rare materials, so follow along to learn how to respec your character.

How to respec in Palworld

Respecing your Palworld character requires a special consumable called Memory Wiping Medicine, but there’s a big step you must take before you can craft one. First, you need to make an Electric Medicine Workbench, which requires you to hit level 43 and then find it in the Technology menu. This bench is made from:

  • 40 Refined Ingots
  • 10 Circuit Boards
  • 20 Carbon Fiber

If that sounds like a grind, just wait. Now that you can make the Memory Wiping Medicine, you need the following materials:

This is a one-time-use item, so make sure you’re sure you want to use it before chugging it down and wasting all those precious materials you spent making it. Also, note that this item doesn’t do anything if you feed it to a Pal except waste it, so don’t bother trying.

Each playable member in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is its own distinct character. Between unique traversal methods and skill trees to ultimate attacks, here's a breakdown of which character you should pick.
Best character to play as in Suicide Squad

No one member of the squad is objectively the best, but rather, each one excels in different methods of combat. While you can switch between characters easily, it is best to know what role each one is best suited for and what to expect jumping into their shoes.
Harley Quinn
Harley is the easiest to understand if you're coming from the past Rocksteady Arkham games. She uses a grappling hook to traverse, which can be a little awkward to get a feel for at first, but she is your most well-rounded character. She uses pistols and SMGs in conjunction with melee attacks and explosives. If you want to play an aggressive, slightly spongy character, Harley is all about getting into the thick of combat. Her ability to regen health for kills pushes you to constantly be on the offensive.
Captain Boomerang
Using his teleporting boomerang to control the flow of battle, Captain Boomerang is perfect for flanking. You will want to play a mix of long and short-range with him, thanks to his use of both a sniper and shotgun. You will be rewarded for hit-and-run tactics here, making ample use of your boomerang's ability to get you out of danger before enemies know you were there. Once you get into the flow with him, you will turn the battlefield into your personal playground.
King Shark
King Shark is the most obvious when it comes to understanding his style. The big, bulky shark-man simply charges up massive jumps to get around, and his fishy skin can take a ton of abuse. You will be tanking hits as you either rush in to deal powerful melee attacks or shrugging off shots as you shred enemies with your heavy weapons and assault rifles. If you're not too confident about being able to dodge and zip around during a fight, go with the king.
Deadshot
Also, to be expected, Deadshot is a very easy character for people who cut their teeth on third-person shooters. He can use pistols, assault rifles, and snipers, so you are always prepared, and none of his abilities are terribly confusing or require a lot of thought to use. His jetpack makes him a perfect support character who can pelt enemies from above or afar without getting into danger. Just remember to watch that fuel gauge.

There are a lot fewer similarities between Palworld and Pokémon than you would think when looking at the monster designs. Yes, you can catch and fight with Pals of different types against other Pals, but the similarities mostly end there. A major change is that Pals don't evolve, meaning the only way to get new or stronger Pals is to catch them or breed them. Depending on which two Pals you breed, you will get a different Pal from the egg they make. While this new Pal will always be stronger, some combinations can allow you to get some very rare Pals much earlier than you otherwise would if you were to try and fight them in the wild. Anubis is level 47 when found naturally, but you can breed one way earlier than that if you follow a few easy steps.

Breeding your Pals in Palworld is one of the most efficient ways to improve and take on tougher Pals. Not only do you have the opportunity to create rare Fusion Pals this way, but you also get your hands on some end-game level Pals way before you could reasonably fight them in the wild. Faleris is arguably one of the toughest Pals you can fight in the game, right up there with the Legendaries, so breeding one is a much more appealing prospect than grinding to take one on in a fight. Still, you need to find a very specific couple to make one, and they're not too easy to come upon either. Here is the recipe for breeding a Faleris in Palworld.
How to breed Faleris

After you have all the necessary things for breeding, namely the farm and a cake, you need two parent Pals. The tricky one here will be the Anubis, though you can simplify this as well by breeding one yourself rather than fighting and capturing it. The second Pal will be a Vanwyrm, which are relatively low-level and easy to find in the starting area. Just make sure you have one of each gender to allow for breeding.
