Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms lashed parts of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, including Mumbai, on Sunday morning, leading to waterlogging in several places. The national capital Delhi also woke up to partly cloudy skies, with shallow fog in the morning. The air quality index (AQI) across the national capital continues to be in the ‘severe’ category in some areas as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

Delhi’s overall AQI remained at 389 on Sunday morning. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, 401 and 450 severe, and above 450 severe plus.
