Harry Kane is on the verge of breaking another record since joining Bundesliga side Bayern Munich but this time it isn’t a goalscoring one.
After a phenomenal individual career at Tottenham Hotspur, Kane finally decided to hang up his Premier League boots to join the Bavarian Giants in Germany.
Since he arrived at the Allianz Arena, the 30-year-old has been shining bright with 21 goals and seven assists for his new club this season.

While managing some impressive numbers on the field, Kane is now set to break the record for the most shirt sales at Bayern. German publication Kicker have claimed that around 20,000 shirts were sold with ‘Kane’ printed on the back during his first weekend in Munich. They have also suggested that more than 100,000 jerseys are expected to be sold by Christmas.
Harry Kane’s insane shirt sale figures will make his number 9 jersey the ‘hottest in history’ and ‘more coveted than the jersey of any other Bayern player’. However, these numbers are likely not going to be a surprise for many.
The English forward has consistently produced impressive performances in the Premier League for Tottenham. The star attacker has breached the 30-goal mark multiple times in his career, establishing himself as one of the best goalscorers in the world.
Kane might not have team success to show for but on an individual level, he has netted 278 goals and provided 64 assists in 430 caps for Spurs. His team’s inability to win trophies was one of the primary reasons for his move to Germany. Bayern reportedly shelled around £86 million for the player this summer and it has been paying off well so far.
Harry Kane is arguably in the best scoring form of his career.
The former Tottenham striker has taken the term goalscoring to a whole new level with his performances in Germany. He has scored in each of his last six games with the Bavarian club. Kane also became the first Bayern player to score a hat-trick in their first Klassiker appearance last month. He repeated this feat two more times against Bochum and Darmstadt to become the first footballer to net three hattricks in his debut campaign in the top flight of Germany and it’s only November.
Harry Kane is yet to win a trophy with his new club. Given the form he is in right now, it is only a matter of time before he gets his hands on a piece of silverware. The Thomas Tuchel-coached side are next set to play a Champion League game on November 30 against Copenhagen. It will be interesting to see if Kane can continue his scoring streak in the next match.
