Jyothy Labs(down 1.87%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 1.85%), Dodla Dairy(down 1.77%), Gillette India(down 0.77%), ADF Foods(down 0.65%), Marico(down 0.34%), Umang Dairies(down 0.21%), Tasty Bite Eatables(down 0.18%), Dabur India(down 0.12%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 0.08%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 9.85 points down at 19802.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 5.43 points at 66017.81.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 4.52%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 3.02%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.28%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.3%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.06%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.92%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.71%), Coal India Ltd.(up 0.69%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.57%) and Wipro Ltd.(up 0.56%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 7.93%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.76%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.48%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.33%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.18%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.87%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.76%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.68%), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.62%) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.62%) closed in the red.
