    Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 275.62 points up at 65930.77 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, Unishire Urban Infr(down 12.20 per cent), Sambhaav Media(down 10.02 per cent), Sharp Investments(down 8.70 per cent), Starteck Finance(down 7.92 per cent) and Tinna Rubber(down 7.50 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

    In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks closed in the green, while 21 stocks ended in the red.

    The index closed 89.4 points up at 19783.4.

    On the BSE, Ritesh Intnl, Sharad Fbrs. &Yrn., Adhbhut Infrastructu, Monnet Ind and Prabhat Tech hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Emami Realty, Dhunseri Invst, DRC Systems India, Sastasundar Ventures and Ceejay Finance touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
