
The deputy director of the tourism department, RP Yadav, explained that the aim of this initiative is to allow people to feel connected to the noble event by purchasing e-lamps through various packages. By booking a package, individuals can light a virtual lamp at Ram Ki Paidi, Saryu Ghats, Mutts, Temples, and other religious places in Ayodhya.
To participate, one can buy a single lamp for just Rs 51 or opt for packages containing 11 lamps for Rs 101, 21 lamps for Rs 501, or 51 lamps for Rs 1,100. Additionally, participants will receive prizes such as lamps, cardamom seeds or laddu prasad, a model of the Ram temple, and souvenirs of Ramnami Gama, Ram Darwar, etc., which will be sent to them via courier based on their chosen package.
To be a part of e-Deepotsav, interested individuals can log on to the 'Holi Ayodhya Portal' https://holyayodhya.com. This virtual experience aims to connect devotees of Lord Rama from India and abroad with the joyous celebrations of Deepotsav in Ayodhya.
The temple town of Ayodhya is preparing to host the seventh edition of the three-day Deepotsav celebrations, which begin on Thursday.
The state government has invited artists from all across the country to participate in the celebrations, which will culminate on November 11 with Deepotsav, when at least 21 lakh diyas will be lit at Ram Ki Paidi, along the Saryu river, and in other parts of the temple town.
