Getty ImagesBenchmark NSE Nifty index rose 2.5 points to 19441.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as HP Adhesives, Compuage Infocom, Lords Chloro, Winsome Yarns and Fourth Dimension Sol, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, Apollo Hospital and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Tata Consumer, Tech Mahindra, RIL, JSW Steel and Hindalco traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 10.74 points up at 64986.35 at 10:04AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Learning & Education, Miscellaneous and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, Fertilisers, Construction, Apparels and Rubber sectors.
