Agro Phos(up 2.40%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 1.63%), Bohra Industries(up 1.60%), Aries Agro(up 1.21%), Sikko Industries(up 1.13%), Coromandel International(up 0.83%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.26%) stood among the top gainers.
G S F C(down 2.94%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 2.64%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.01%), Krishana Phoschem(down 1.77%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.47%), Rama Phosphates(down 1.47%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.20%), National Fertilizer(down 0.65%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.63%) and Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.61%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 5.05 points down at 19406.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 16.29 points at 64942.4.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.82%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.78%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.39%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.24%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.13%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.09%), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.02%), State Bank of India(up 0.94%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 0.72%) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 0.68%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.15%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.87%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.72%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.72%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.71%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.64%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.61%), ITC Ltd.(down 0.6%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.57%) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.56%) closed in the red.
