Indian frontline indices ended with gains on Friday maintaining a two-session winning streak led by strong buying action across sectors. Realty, consumer, banks and auto stocks made merry. While the S&P BSE Sensex jumped 283 points or 0.44% to close at 64,363.78, the broader Nifty50 gained 97.35 points or 0.51% to settle at 19,230.60. Banking gauge Nifty Bank finished the day at 44,885, up by 433.90 points or 0.98%.Here are the stocks that saw action today:

​JK Lakshmi Cement

Shares of JK Lakshmi Cement ended at Rs 752.60 on the NSE on Friday, up by Rs 78.40 or 11.63% on strong Q2 earnings posted by the company. The cement maker reported a 55.15% YoY increase in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 95.87 crore in the second quarter ended September 2023.

​Dr Lal Path Labs

​Shares of Dr Lal Path Labs surged over 7% intraday to the day's high of Rs 2,638.85 on the NSE on Friday continuing its strong run on the exchanges following its September quarter earnings. The stock finally ended at Rs 2,593, up by Rs 129.85 or 5.27% over Thursday’s closing price.

Zomato stock

Shares of food delivery app Zomato jumped nearly 8% and hit their 52-week high of Rs 115.90 on the NSE on Friday following a Rs 36 crore profit after tax (PAT) against the estimates of Rs 5 crore loss by ETNow poll. The stock also crossed a market cap of Rs 1 lakh crore and at the market closing time, it stood at Rs 101,446.42 crore.

Godfrey Phillips

​Shares of Godfrey Phillips India plunged 9% or by Rs 208 on the NSE to 2,140.10 after the company reported a 9.3% drop in quarterly profit after tax, weighed by a sharp rise in expenses. The Marlboro cigarettes maker reported a total revenue from operations of Rs 1,375 crore, up 15.4% YoY.

IRFC
