Shares of Britannia Industries jumped 4% in intra-day to the day's high of Rs 4,568.80 on the NSE after the FMCG major reported a 19% YoY growth in consolidated PAT for the quarter ended September 2023 to Rs 588 crore. The stock ended today's session at Rs 4,528, up by Rs 130.70 or 2.97%.

Adani Power
Shares of Adani Power jumped nearly 7% in intra-day trade to their day’s high of Rs 390 on NSE after the company reported an 848% growth in its profit for the September 2023 quarter at Rs 6,594 crore. The same stood at Rs 696 crore in the year-ago period. The stock closed at Rs 372.75, up by Rs 7.55 or 2.07%.

JK Tyre
Shares of JK Tyre & Industries zoomed 14% to their 52-week high of Rs 351 on NSE after the firm reported a nearly five-fold increase in consolidated profit for the second quarter at Rs 249 crore, compared to about Rs 50 crore in Q2FY23. The stock settled at Rs 338.25, gaining by Rs 30.10 or 9.77%.

Shares of state-owned REC finished today's session at Rs 302, gaining Rs 19.15 or 6.77% over the Wednesday closing price. The spike in price was on account of a 39% YoY rise in its consolidated profit to Rs 3,789.90 crore in Q2 compared to Rs 2,732 crore in the year-ago period.
