President Joe Biden on Wednesday reacted to a crying baby interrupting his speech by saying, "Kids are allowed to do that with me."
Liberal media outlet MeidasTouch posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, that juxtaposed Biden's response to the baby to a clip of former President Donald Trump telling a mother with a crying baby to leave his rally.
Biden's interlude with the baby occurred during a speech in rural Minnesota, where he talked about pressing Israel to honor international laws on protecting civilians in conflict. The baby cried out just as he spoke of "devastating images from Gaza" and "Palestinian children crying out for lost parents."
"It's OK. Kids are allowed to do that with me," Biden said. "Don't worry about it ... Is it him or her? I don't blame her."

The footage MeidasTouch used of Trump speaking out about a crying infant occurred at a rally in northern Virginia in August 2016 when he was the Republican nominee for president running against Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Trump at first seemingly indicated the baby wasn't upsetting him.
"Don't worry about that baby. I love babies," he said. "I hear that baby crying, I like it. What a baby. What a beautiful baby."
Trump then imitated the mother appearing to be nervous and told her not to be worried.
"Don't worry about it, you know?" he said. "It's young and beautiful and healthy, and that's what we want."
Trump continued with his remarks on China and trade before becoming distracted again by the baby. At this point, he asked the mother to leave.
"Actually, I was only kidding, you can get the baby out of here," he said.
He added: "That's all right, don't worry. I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I'm speaking. That's OK. People don't understand."
The MeidasTouch post on X had been viewed more than 66,500 times as of press time, and many people commented about the clip. Several people used the comments section to denounce Biden for supporting Israel, but most commenters praised the president for his reaction to the baby. Others used the occasion to mock Trump.
"I imagine Trump can't stand a baby, or a puppy for that matter, unless it's made of gold," one person wrote.
"The orange one is always concerned people will notice the similarity between him and crying babies," another person said.
However, some comments criticized MeidasTouch for the video.
"You should call yourself IdiotsTouch," a Trump supporter said.
