    The NSE Nifty index closed 90.45 points down at 18989.15

    India 10-year bond yield fell 0.34 per cent to 6.13 after trading in 6.13-6.16 range.
    NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 2488.64 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1252.98 crore), RIL(Rs. 1186.52 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1180.70 crore), L&T(Rs. 1131.63 crore), CDSL(Rs. 1018.74 crore), SBI(Rs. 769.94 crore), Birlasoft(Rs. 743.76 crore), JSPL(Rs. 723.27 crore) and Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 718.20 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

    The NSE Nifty index ended the session 90.45 points down at 18989.15, while BSE Sensex fell 283.6 points to 63591.33.

    In the Nifty index, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 3.14 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.35 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

    On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.37 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.32 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
