The Nifty index was trading 131.45 points up at 18988.7.
On the BSE, Sterlite Tech, Toyam Industries, Senthil Infotek, Krishna Capital and Winsome Yarns hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Somi Conveyor, Sical Logistics, Plaza Wires, Hind Aluminium and Fortis Malar touched their fresh 52-week highs.
