The incident took place when IAF's Junior Warrant Officer Deviprasad Mishra, who was posted in Delhi, was driving to Agra along with his wife Kislay and daughters Jigyasa and Adamya

The 40-year-old wife of a junior warrant officer of the Indian Air Force (IAF) died while their two daughters were injured after being hit by a speeding car from behind on the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura on Wednesday, police said.

The incident took place when IAF’s Junior Warrant Officer Deviprasad Mishra, who was posted in Delhi, was driving to Agra along with his wife Kislay and daughters Jigyasa and Adamya, said Superintendent of Police (Rural) Trigun Bishen.

The official added that Kislay and her daughters Jigyasa and Adamya were hit by a speeding vehicle when they had halted in the Sureer police station area to answer nature’s call.

A speeding car coming from the Noida side hit the IAF official’s wife and their two daughters as they came out of their vehicle.

According to police, the intensity of the collision was so high that Kislay was thrown from the underpass bridge on the Naujheel-Raya road. She died on the spot from the impact of her injuries.

Station House Officer  (SHO) of Sureer police station Narendra Singh Yadav said that the deceased’s body was sent for postmortem examination.

Efforts are on nab the driver of the vehicle.
