PM Modi made a veiled attack on the INDIA bloc over casteism and regionalism.

“This is the time to be cautious. We have to remember that today’s ravan dahan is not just of an effigy but of everything that destroys unity in country. Dahan should be of forces which divide castism and regionalism. Dahan of thoughts of self-interest rather than India’s development,” he said.

During the puja, traditional musical instruments of the Nath sect, such as the Nagphani, Shankh, Dhol, Ghant, and Damaru, were played in the temple premises, creating a devotional atmosphere.

Adityanath also performed ‘gau seva’ (cow worship) as a part of the special Vijayadashami puja.

Giving a brief on the security arrangements made at Red Fort grounds for Ramlila shows, DCP North Manoj Kumar Meena said, “Security, law & order and traffic arrangements made at all three Ram Leela shows with the presence of 1500 police personnel in the area. Anti-terrorist measures have also been taken. For the visit of VVIPs, security measures taken. Crowd control measures taken keeping in mind Ravan dahan today. Entry of people will be stopped as it reaches maximum capacity. Carrying of bags inside the Ram Leela shows is not allowed.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of a sports complex in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.

Shah later visited the Bahuchar Mata Temple to offer his prayers, after which he also had lunch in the temple’s dining area, sitting among other devotees present there.
