Bandhan Bank shares gain 0.29% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Bandhan Bank Ltd. traded at Rs 240.25 on BSE at 10:35AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.29 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 182.2 and a high of Rs 275.25.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 19.18 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 12.6 per share and 1.61 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 108,038 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:35AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 38911.26 crore and is part of the Banks - Private Sector industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 11.2 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 15.27 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 244.5 and Rs 240.0.

Promoters held 39.98 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2023. FII and MF ownership in Bandhan Bank Ltd. stood at 32.77 per cent and 8.49 per cent, respectively.
