    Shares of Shree Cements Ltd. gained 1.64 per cent to Rs 27265.4 in Monday's session as of 10:20AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 50.11 points lower at 66232.63.

    Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 27284.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 20165.8 on NSE. Around 290 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:20AM (IST).

    The stock opened at Rs 26850.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 27284.85 and Rs 26850.0 during the session so far. The stock quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 62.82, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 433.33 and price to book value (PB) of 5.07, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 6.81.

    Promoter/ FII Holding
    The promoters held 62.55 per cent stake in the company as of October 16, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 12.22 per cent and 7.68 per cent, respectively.

    With a market capitalisation of Rs 98214.5 crore, the company operates in the Cement - North industry. For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5233.9 crore, down 0.23 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 5245.91 crore and down 19.09 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 572.3 crore for the latest quarter, up 104.76 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

    The relative strength index (RSI) of the stock stands at 70.43. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally, it is considered overbought condition when the RSI value is above 70 and oversold condition when it is below 30.
