Several Islamic nations, under ‘The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’ (OIC), have also called “urgent extraordinary meeting” in Saudi Arabia to discuss war.

US Air Combat Command announced on Sunday that additional US attack aircrafts have arrived in the Middle East as part of a plan to bolster American defense posture in the region.
A US official previously told CNN that the additional A-10 Warthog attack aircraft that have been deployed along with other US fighter jets is intended to deter any Iranian aggression or an expansion of the fighting beyond the border of Israel.
Amidst a rocket fire on Sunday, a bipartisan US Senate delegation was forced to take shelter in Tel Aviv. US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer shared the update through a social media post.

Schumer is leading the delegation on a trip to meet high-level Israeli officials in order to show US support for Israel. He posted a photo of senators and staffers standing in an Israeli shelter.
Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip have killed at least 2,450 people since Hamas’s bloody attack on southern Israel last week, the Gaza health ministry said on Sunday.

Pope Francis called for humanitarian corridors to help the ones under siege in Gaza. As quoted by news agency Reuters, he also appealed to release the hostages that have been held by Hamas, the militant Islamist group.
Israel has started evacuating the elderly people from nursing homes in the southern city of Ashkelon. The total population of the city is nearly 150,000.

Following a suspected terrorist infiltration, residents of a neighborhood in Ofakim were ordered to take shelter as forces carried out searches.
The municipality also told residents of the Shapira neighborhood located in the southern part of the city to keep staying in their bomb shelters and lock their homes until further notice.

A spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on October 14 that the first evacuation flight for Ukrainian citizens has left Israel carrying 207 Ukrainians, including 63 children.
He also said that the flight departed for Bucharest from Tel Aviv.
The next flight has been scheduled for October 15 and will go to the Romanian city of Cluj.
