NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading lower on Friday at 10:55AM
Balrampur Chini Mills(up 0.23%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.19%) and Mawana Sugars(up 0.14%) were among the top gainers.
MAGADHSUGAR(down 1.58%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(down 1.52%), BAJAJHIND(down 1.18%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(down 1.14%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 1.09%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 0.99%), Sakthi Sugars(down 0.96%), AVADHSUGAR(down 0.94%), EID Parry(down 0.78%) and Bannari Amman Sugars(down 0.53%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 118.85 points down at 19675.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 419.59 points at 65988.8 at around 10:55AM.
Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.1%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.83%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.49%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.89%), Coal India Ltd.(up 0.58%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.46%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.41%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.39%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.35%) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.3%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.24%), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.39%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.36%), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.76%), State Bank of India(down 1.68%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.24%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.04%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.95%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.95%) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.93%) were trading in the red.
