Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 3059.28 crore), Infosys(Rs. 2563.92 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1841.35 crore), ITI Ltd(Rs. 1500.54 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1215.25 crore), RIL(Rs. 1189.90 crore), SBI(Rs. 1100.16 crore), Angel One(Rs. 1054.88 crore), TCS(Rs. 1029.63 crore) and MMTC(Rs. 995.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 42.95 points down at 19751.05, while BSE Sensex fell 125.65 points to 66282.74.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 4.73 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.77 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.63 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.35 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.69 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
