Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 125.65 points down at 66282.74 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, IFL Enterprises(down 19.49 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 17.19 per cent), Chandra Bhagat Pharm(down 11.64 per cent), Amanaya Ventures(down 10.00 per cent) and Freshtrop Fruit(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 42.95 points down at 19751.05.
On the BSE, IndiaNivesh Ltd, Rajesh Exports, Aanchal Ispat, Winsome Yarns and Nakoda Group Of Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while GFL Ltd., Jai Corp, ITI Ltd, Odyssey Corp and HSIL touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
