Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sical Logistics, MMTC, Cupid Ltd, Mukta Arts and Plastiblend Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 17.35 points down at 19794.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Shree Ram Proteins, Baid Leasing, Accuracy Shipping, Rajesh Exports and Winsome Yarns, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Coal India Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, NTPC and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Apollo Hospital, Infosys, TCS and HCL Tech ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 64.66 points down at 66408.39.

Traders piled up positions in Trading, Media & Entertainment, Mining, Telecommunications and Airlines sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Power, Building Materials, Construction and IT Software sectors during the day.
