Delhi Police have launched a manhunt to nab a youth who allegedly stabbed a 55-year-old man and robbed him on Wednesday in south Delhi’s Jor Bagh area. The victim, identified as Kikkar Singh and a resident of Kotla Mubarakpur, was returning home when a young man intercepted him and asked him to hand over all valuables.

According to Times of India report, the victim told police that the accused was carrying a knife and threatened to attack if he refused to hand over all belongings to him. The incident took place at a lonely stretch on 3rd Avenue Road.

To thwart the robbery attempt, the victim tried to flee from the spot but was attacked with a knife by the accused, who managed to take away his wallet.

Health condition of Singh, who is a driver by profession, is said to be stable.

To nab the accused, police have launched a probe and scanned CCTV footages of the area to ascertain if any other person was involved to carry out the crime.
