The Andhra Pradesh CID began questioning TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh in connection with the Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam case for the second successive day on Wednesday.
Lokesh reported to the CID’s Economic Offences Wing-II (EOW II) office at Tadepalli in Guntur district at 9:55 am.
On Tuesday, the CID served its second notice to Lokesh asking him to appear before it today, under Section 41 A of CrPC.
The Inner Ring Road (IRR) scam pertains to alleged irregularities in the construction of an internal ring road in Amaravati city.
The CID has alleged that the road’s alignment was changed to provide undue favour to companies owned by TDP leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu The CID included Lokesh as accused number 14 (A – 14) in the case.
