The index closed 121.5 points up at 19811.35.
On the BSE, Riddhi Corp. Service, Continental Chem, Aanchal Ispat, National Perox and Jaihind Synth hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sagar Soya Prod, AdityaBirlaMoney, Frontline Corp, Veejay Lakshmi and Yash Pakka touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
