IANSThe primary objective of Mera Yuva Bharat is to make it a whole of government platform for youth development. The body will be dedicated to the nation on October 31, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, he said.
"The platform can act as a one-stop platform for youth and initiatives to engage with them. It will also help in two-way communication," he further said.
"There are nearly 40 crore youth in the country who are in the age group of 15-19 years. We have decided to launch My (Mera Yuva) Bharat platform for them," said the minister addressing Cabinet briefing.
