Voltas shares up 0.51% as Nifty gains

NEW DELHI: Shares of Voltas Ltd. traded 0.51 per cent up in Tuesday's trade at 12:49PM (IST). Around 3,968 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 852.35 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 858.0 and Rs 851.85, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Voltas Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 933.5 and a 52-week low of Rs 737.6.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 3429.83 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 14.2 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3003.46 crore and up 22.72 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2794.75 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 129.29 crore, up 18.75 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Sep-2023, DIIs held 15.29 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 17.84 per cent and the promoters 30.3 per cent.

According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 182.03 and a price-to-book ratio of 4.96.
