Until recently I was positive on DVN especially if we saw price increases for oil and gas. Market prices have increased during the past month but DVN's stock price still has decreased significantly. Losing patience but Exxon possible acquisition of PNR might garner some interest in DVN.

None of the E&P names participated much in the run up to the $90s. Big pricing shifts in oil prices usually front run E&P prices. But at the end of the day, whether DVN is a good investment will be determined by oil prices. Everything else is noise.
