What caused the 'horrific' supercar crash in Italy involving Swades actress Gayatri Joshi

Bollywood actress Gayatri Joshi's husband, Vikas Oberoi, is currently under investigation following a high-speed collision in Sardinia, Italy, involving two high-end supercars, a Lamborghini and a Ferrari. Oberoi was driving the blue Lamborghini Huracan during the incident. The tragic crash led to the loss of life for a Swiss couple, Markus Krautli and Melissa Krautli, and caused a campervan to overturn.

Despite the severity of the accident, both Oberoi and his wife, Gayatri Joshi, emerged unharmed. Public prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia has confirmed that the police have collected several videos from the crash site, and a thorough investigation is in progress.

One of the recorded clips, captured by a vehicle following Oberoi's Lamborghini, illustrates several sports cars trailing behind a campervan on a narrow two-lane highway. The blue Lamborghini attempts to overtake the van, coinciding with a sudden maneuver by the Ferrari, leading to a collision with Oberoi's car.

Lorenzo Mascarin, who was inside the overturned camper with his wife Marina Demetz, described the terrifying moments they endured, stating, "There were very long moments of terror in which we didn't understand what was happening." The couple was on vacation in Sardinia when the horrible accident occurred.
