
Taking to Instagram, Kohli said: "As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets at all throughout the tournament. Enjoy from your homes pls."
His wife Anushka Sharma added a hilarious note: "Please don't request me to help if your messages get unanswered. Thank you for your understanding."
"Once you start arranging tickets for your friends, you get inundated with requests....there is no end to it. We cricketers get limited number of passes and we have to accommodate our family," he said.
He added that he told his friends that they can enjoy the tournament from the comfort of their homes. India start their World Cup drive on October 8 in Chennai against five-time Champions Australia.
