Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 13.94 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 7.02 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 5.91 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 5.80 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 5.04 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 4.19 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 3.30 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.22 crore), Ujjivan SFB(number of shares traded: 3.04 crore) and Infibeam Avenues(number of shares traded: 2.84 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 62.05 points up at 19498.15, while BSE Sensex was up 252.45 points at 65478.49 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
