Getty ImagesBenchmark NSE Nifty index fell 119.45 points to 19409.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Yatra Online, FutureLifestyleFash, Shree Ram Proteins, Manoj Vaibhav Gems N and Winsome Yarns, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Nestle India, BPCL, HDFC Bank, Adani Ent. and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Maruti Suzuki and SBI traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 415.36 points down at 65096.74 at 10:29AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Sugar, Aquaculture and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Power, Metals - Ferrous, Building Materials and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors.
