In the Nifty index, Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.79 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent) were among the top losers.
