Siemens shares down 0.98% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of Siemens Ltd. traded 0.98 per cent down in Thursday's trade at 12:02PM (IST). Around 1,626 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 3726.05 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3727.25 and Rs 3679.3, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Siemens Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 4066.1 and a 52-week low of Rs 2670.35.

Total market cap of the Siemens Ltd. stood at Rs 131141.28 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 5005.6 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 0.63 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4974.4 crore and up 15.42 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4337.0 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 455.5 crore, up 51.48 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Jun-2023, domestic institutional investors held 3.28 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 7.58 per cent and the promoters 75.0 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 64.23 and a price-to-book ratio of 8.49. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
