JSW Energy(down 2.36%), SJVN(down 1.66%), Karma Energy(down 1.51%), ADANIGREEN(down 1.21%), Adani Power(down 1.16%), NHPC(down 0.77%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(down 0.65%), Adani Energy Solutions(down 0.58%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.58%) and KEC International(down 0.52%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 13.75 points down at 19660.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 32.74 points at 65976.41 at around 10:04AM.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.01%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.67%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.47%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.35%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.08%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.71%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.69%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 0.64%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.53%) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.53%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
