RTNPOWER(down 3.82%), SJVN(down 3.39%), Energy Development Company(down 2.95%), Alstom T&D India(down 2.69%), Inox Wind Energy(down 2.16%), Orient Green Power Company(down 1.81%), GE Power India Limited(down 1.53%), Gujarat Industries Power(down 1.33%), Adani Energy Solutions(down 1.04%) and Karma Energy(down 0.93%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 0.3 points up at 19674.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 14.54 points at 66023.69.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.66%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.6%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.18%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.15%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.65%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.59%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.47%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.45%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.75%) and NTPC Ltd.(up 0.71%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.98%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.87%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.58%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.47%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.41%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.13%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.1%), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.05%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.92%) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.8%) closed in the red.
