Manchester United's Marcus Rashford was reported to have met with an accident as the player left back to Manchester from Turf Moor.

Manchester United’s star #10, Marcus Rashford was involved in a car accident. The player was part of the playing side that went up against Burnley at Turf Moor. But when the player was heading back to Manchester in his personal vehicle, he managed to get in an accident.

According to the Sun’s reports, Manchester United’s skipper, Bruno Fernandes had also arrived at the incident to assist Rashford if necessary.

Rashford will be looking to get back into the form he was in last season. He finished the 2022-2023 season with 30+ goals across all formats improving his best tally across a season. However this season it hasn’t been the same since the start of the current season.

Reports also suggested that the player is visibly shaken but does not have any serious injuries.

It is reported by the Athletic that once the police arrived at the scene, they conducted the necessary investigations and

Despite securing a 1-0 victory over Burnley, United are currently eighth in the Premier League far from what they expected. The side had a miserable start to the season after losing four out of their first seven fixtures.

Fans on social media have been very critical of Rashford for being selfish on the ball and not being more active with passing in the final third.

Rashford will hope that he does not miss any game time due to this accident as he aims to get back into his best form from last season.

This season will make it his ninth season with the club. Rashford burst into the United playing XI under ex-Dutch manager, Louis Van Gaal and has never looked back since then.

He has then gone on to establish himself as Manchester United’s most important goalscorer in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era. He currently sits at 124 goals and 70 assists for the club in 365 appearances.

In the current season, he has only one goal scored in the season which came against Arsenal and also has two assists in a total of six appearances for the club.
