Taylor Swift Cheers on Travis Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium: Video

Taylor Swift was seen cheering on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on Sunday evening amid rumors that the two are dating.

In a video posted online by ESPN, Swift, a 12-time Grammy award-winning musician, can be seen next to Kelce's mother Donna in the crowd during the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears.

"Taylor Swift is at Arrowhead Stadium to watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs," ESPN posted to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Swift's fans, known as "Swifties," reacted to her presence at the game on social media, prompting her to trend on X.

"TAYLOR SWIFT IS AT THE CHIEFS GAME NEXT TO TRAVIS KELCE'S MOM IN THE PLAYER SUITE," wrote @bre_offenberger, who also posted a reaction meme.

"This is the greatest day of my life taylor swift is just casually hanging out in my city oh my god," wrote @swifferwins.

"Not Taylor Swift cheering for someone like we cheer for her," wrote @thejohnny81.

"Not Taylor Swift... Travis Kelce you might've won," posted @taylorsnet.

Her appearance comes as fans have speculated for weeks about their romantic status. The Messenger reported on September 12 that the two were "quietly hanging out," but neither spoke about the rumors until Kelce said he invited Swift to watch him play Sunday's game during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

"I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court. And, you know, I told her, you know, maybe, 'I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead. And see which one is a little more lit.' So, we'll see what happens in the near future," he said on Thursday.

He also described the speculation over their relationship as "hilarious."

"I think it's right now, it's like an old game in school called telephone, where everyone's just whispering in each other's ear, just hearing some random stuff. And then you got, especially, nobody know what's going on, especially when you've got Jason Kelce on live television telling people, just, both sides. He doesn't know, it's true, it's this and that," Kelce said.

Kelce previously attended Swift's Eras tour in July. He said he planned to give her a friendship bracelet, a tradition at her concert that stems from lyrics from her song "You're on Your Own Kid," with his phone number on it at the show, but ultimately did not have the opportunity to do so.

Newsweek reached out to Swift's publicist via email for comment.
