I write about companies that fascinate me and that also offers investors with potential as a long-term position. I primarily focus on the energy and banking sector but every now and again venture out to other sectors too.

Been watching this one since the spinoff from DTE. Never got to the right price and circumstance, so still watching. But appears reasonably well run. Maybe best attraction is possible bolt on acquisition for a larger player. But given seems peers are moving toward expansion through build versus buy, not sure how likely that is. Have a FV around $55 at EV 9.5x ebitda. Hopefully with right discount and circumstance, might eventually get at least a piece and go from there.

The vast majority of my DTM shares came by way of my pre-spinoff DTE holdings / low-to-mid $40s post spinoff. I'm holding for now but will buy occasionally below $50 at new 52-week lows, and definitely at or below with 6% yield. Greedy at a reasonable sp.
