ReutersNEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 14.24 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 11.13 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.44 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.12 crore), Visagar Fin(numbers of share traded: 2.81 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 2.59 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 2.25 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.11 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 1.54 crore) and Vikas Ecotech (numbers of share traded: 1.30 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 33.1 points up at 20103.1, while BSE Sensex ended up 52.01 points at 67519.0.
On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.78 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.74 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
