Share price of Trent rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Trent Ltd. gained 0.36 per cent to Rs 2064.75 in Wednesday's trade as of 01:04PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 2070.8 and low of Rs 2013.7 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 17.13 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:04PM shares and turnover at Rs 230.0 crore around that time.

The stock of Trent Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 2130.0 and Rs 1155.1, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.62.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 37.01 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while overseas investors held 25.01 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 15.81 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2680.39 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 18.18 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2268.06 crore and up 45.12 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1846.98 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 173.48 crore, up 32.92 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
