Share price of Shriram Finance falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Shriram Finance Ltd. slipped 0.11 per cent to Rs 1908.75 in Wednesday's trade as of 01:14PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 1920.55 and low of Rs 1877.25 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 13.87 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:14PM shares and turnover at Rs 229.0 crore around that time.

The stock of Shriram Finance Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1974.95 and Rs 1147.05, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.69.

Promoters held 25.48 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while FIIs held 55.36 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 14.66 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 8292.53 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 3.92 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 7979.75 crore and up 61.04 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 5149.26 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 1705.24 crore, up 76.43 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
