A married man killed his 28-year-old live-in partner in Maharashtra’s Vasai and dumped her body in Gujarat’s Valsad. The accused was identified as Manohar Shukla.

The body of the victim was found packed in a suitcase in a creek at Valsad in neighbouring Gujarat.

The victim’s sister had lodged a missing complaint at Naigaon police station on August 14.

The victim’s elder sister has alleged that the accused Shukla and his wife killed her sister, packed her body in a suitcase and disposed of it in Vapi to erase any traces of murder.

The accused, Manohar Shukla was married and was also in relation with the victim.

An FIR has been registered under section 302 at Naigaon police station, and police have arrested Shukla and detained his wife.
