AgenciesBenchmark NSE Nifty index fell 0.35 points to 19611.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Bombay Metrics Suppl, Penta Gold, Redtape L, Sanco Industries and Pyramid Technoplast, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddys and UPL were among top gainers, while Tata Consumer, Britannia, UltraTech Cem., Apollo Hospital and HUL traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 2.18 points down at 65878.34 at 10:50AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Telecommunications, Defence, Mining and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was visible in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials, Metals - Ferrous and Fertilisers sectors.
