Energy Development Company(down 3.07%), Adani Energy Solutions(down 1.93%), CESC(down 1.30%), KPI Green Energy(down 1.28%), Indowind Energy(down 1.06%), GE Power India Limited(down 0.83%), Inox wind(down 0.62%), ADANIGREEN(down 0.34%), Karma Energy(down 0.23%) and KEC International(down 0.15%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 116.0 points up at 19727.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 385.04 points at 66265.56.
Coal India Ltd.(up 7.11%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 4.24%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.19%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.09%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.62%), State Bank of India(up 1.49%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.46%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.45%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.42%) and Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.36%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.29%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.84%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.81%), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.76%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.71%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.71%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.63%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.63%), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.59%) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.56%) closed in the red.
