    Tata Elxsi shares gain 0.09% as Sensex falls

    Shares of Tata Elxsi Ltd. traded 0.09 per cent up at Rs 7413.25 at 11:21AM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 40.59 points to 65739.67. The scrip had settled at Rs 7406.0 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 9275.05 and Rs 5708.1, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 11:21AM (IST) stood at 11:21AM shares with turnover at Rs 397.0 crore.

    At the current price, the stock trades at 60.88 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 121.93 per share and 17.8 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.02.

    Promoters held 43.92 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while FIIs owned 14.22 per cent and DIIs 4.0 per cent.
